About Ideathon

An ideathon is a brief, intense workshop-style experience in which students discuss some of the world’s most pressing issues. Participants work in groups to brainstorm and agree on potential ideas using concept thinking and creative learning methods.

Registration Opens
Participants can register for the Ideathon on the Ideathon Page, as well as build a team and invite team members.

Idea Submission Start
The Team Leader can now select the Problem Statement and apply the proposal from the Team Dashboard. Note: Once you've selected a Problem Statement, you cannot change it, but you can edit the Idea as many times as you want before the Idea Submission deadline.
August 12, 2020
Registration Closes
Deadline for registering as a participant and forming a team. Please keep in mind that the team members cannot be switched or altered post the closure of registration.
September 18, 2020
Idea Submission Closes
After the Idea Submission Deadline, teams will not be able to make changes to their proposals. Please keep in mind that the teams that do not submit their ideas by the deadline will be disqualified from progressing to the next round of the Ideathon. Teams will be shortlisted based on the Ideas submitted.

    Who can participate in this Ideathon?

    This Ideathon is open to Students, technologists, freelancers and professional developer community.

    What is the cost of participating in the Ideathon?

    There is no participation fee.

    How do I know that my registration is confirmed?

    The organizing team will approve and confirm your participation. 

    When to start the development phase?

    Shortlisted teams will receive a confirmation email and it will reflect on the user dashboard.

    Do we need to have the entire idea fully working?

      The entry should be functional for review by the judges.
